Sherwin and Jean Ferdinands together with Spencer and Jennifer wish to extend their special thanks to the doctors, nurses, caregivers and all staff at York Central Long Term Care Facility, Richmond Hill for the care given to Ivor. We also wish to thank all Ivor's friends for visiting the funeral home and for attending the funeral which took place August 4, 2009.

Special thanks to Kent's former hockey teammates, the Toronto Maple Leaf organization, and the NHL Players' Association for their support and thoughtfulness. The beautiful floral tributes, cards and e-mail messages of sympathy and donations in Kent's memory are all greatly appreciated. Grateful appreciation to Cecil Cochram for conducting the Memorial Service and to Susan Foster for sharing memories of Kent's life and hockey career in her eulogy. Sincere thanks to Dr. Caroline Bowman of Wasaga Beach for her dedication and support throughout Kent's illness. The Lynn Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale was a tremendous help in taking care of all arrangements.
