When you place a notice with the Toronto Star it also appears automatically on www.starclassifieds.com. Attached to your notice online is a free, one-month guest book. Guest Books allow family and friends from around the world to post their thoughts, condolences, congratulations and memories in response to a death, or other notice placed in The Toronto Star.
Online Guest Books are available with a variety of notices including the following:
Death notices Births Adoptions Graduations Social Notices (anniversaries/ wedding announcements etc.)
There is no cost to make a guest book entry.
At the end of the one-month period you may print the guest book, and save it as a special keepsake. If you wish to extend the amount of time your guest book is active to three months, or six months, you may do so for a small additional charge, as follows:

Terms of Use

Users grant TSNL the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, modify, translate and distribute any posted material, for any use whatsoever. TSNL may publicize the user's name, hometown and e-mail address in its sole discretion. Users agree to indemnify TSNL against any liability whatsoever caused by material posted or used by the user. Users agree that TSNL will not be liable for any damages of any kind whatsoever arising from the use of, the use by others of or actions taken by TSNL in respect of, the Star Classifieds Online Guest Books. Users acknowledge that material posted by them in any guest book is not private and may be used by anyone. Users agree that use of the Star Classifieds Online Guest Books constitutes agreement to abide by these rules.
